Black Sox bounce back for Sunday win

HOUSE SPRINGS — It was the Black Sox turn to win a game by one run after dropping two on Friday. The Post 416 American Legion Junior League team edged out House Springs on Sunday by a score of 5-4 in their regular season finale.

Isaac Armstrong pitched the complete game for the win, allowing only four hits by the home team and striking out nine batters. Armstrong also proved handy with a bat as he had two singles and drove in one run at the plate. Nick Hoehn also hit two singles, and Aaron Baker, Cragon McBride, Mike Standfuss and Bryan Krause had one single each.
