Accident sends three to hospital

A two-vehicle accident Tuesday on Old Irondale Road in St. Francois County resulted in three people going to the hospital.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a vehicle driven by Cathy Harter, 44, Park Hills, drove into the path of a vehicle driven by Sharrie Thompson, 49, Irondale.

Thompson suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Mineral Area Regional Medical Center by St. Francois County Ambulance. Harter suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Mineral Area Regional Medical Center by St. Francois County Ambulance. Laina Moore suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Mineral Area Regional Medical Center by St. Francois County Ambulance.
