Three injured in two accidents Monday
An accident at Highway 32 at Layne Cemetery Road sent two people to the hospital Monday.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Erin C. Hickson, 23, Park Hills, was westbound on Highway 32, followed by a vehicle driven by Timothy G. Morgan, 47, Farmington.
Morgan was unable to slow down in time and struck the left side of Hickson’s vehicle as it was turning left onto Layne Cemetery Road. Both drivers were transported by St. Francois County Ambulance to Parkland Health Center. Hickson’s injuries were described as serious. Morgan’s injuries were described as minor.
The accident happened about 12:25 p.m. Monday.
A Fredericktown man was taken to St. Francis Hospital by Bollinger County Ambulance after he was injured in an accident at 5:35 p.m. Monday in Patton. The Highway Patrol says William A. Green, 60, sustained serious injuries when his vehicle struck a car driven by Patricia A. Page, 52, Patton.
Page turned left in front of Green’s westbound vehicle and Green hit Page’s car. The investigating officer issued a summons to Page.
