Camper dies at park

A camper at St. Francois State Park died Sunday, apparently of natural causes.

Missouri Division of State Parks spokesman Sue Holtz said Yvonne Lanius, 45, St. Louis was camping with a friend when she complained of chest pains. She is reported to have taken medication. But, Sunday morning at 6:45 a.m., her friend could not wake her. Emergency personnel were called and they could not revive her.
