Irene Bay

Irene Bay, 89, passed away October 16, 2006, to join her family and friends in Jesus. Irene was born October 10, 1917, to the late George N. and Thursey Ellen Nelson Brooks. Also preceding her in death were her beloved husband Roy E. Bay, two precious infants, Ronnie Gene and Loretta June; Brothers and sisters, Myrtle Parker, Herbert Brooks, Minnie Wisdon, Claud Brooks, Dorothy Wisdom, Avril Brooks and Arnold Brooks.

Surviving are: Children, Joey Bay (Janice) of Desloge, Mrs. Jay (Brenda) Peters of Kirkwood, and Rick Bay and Elizabeth Pinkley of Annapolis. Five granchildren, Amy Peters of New York, NY, Mrs. Kory (Buffy) Dischbein of Park Hills, Mrs. Ed (Joanna) Miller of Farmington; Jason Bay and Mikeal Bone both of St. Louis. One great granddaughter, Khloe Renee Dischbein of Park Hills; one sister, Lovie Wilks of DeSoto, beloved nieces, nephews and friends.

Irene was a long and faithful member of Belleview Methodist Church and Life Church Farmington in Farmington.

Visitation will be held Wednesday 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Shipman Funeral Home. A service of celebration wil begin at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 19 at the Life Church Farmington, Highway H, Farmington, with Rev. Leon Miller. Interment will be in the Boss Cemetery, Boss, MO.
