Jack Bolger

BONNE TERRE – John Jack Bolger of Bonne Terre, Baptized in the Hope of Christ’s Resurrection, passed away Monday, October 30, 2006 at his residence at the age of 78 years. He was born January 16, 1928 in St. Louis to the late George and Mary Bolger (nee McCloskey). He is also preceded in death by one sister, Margaret Bolger, four brothers, Tom, George, Bill, and James Bolger, and his nephew, Kevin Bolger.

Jack was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bonne Terre. He served his country proudly in the United States Army.

He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Patricia Phelps, Brian Bolger, Dennis Bolger, Kathleen Petty, great nieces and nephews, Stephanie Bolger, Danielle Bolger, Matthew Bolger, Paul Phelps, Derek Phelps, Scott Bolger, and Tony Bolger, and great-great-nephew, Guy Maximillian Phelps. Cousins and friends also survive.

Funeral Service to be conducted 10 a.m. Thursday, November 2, 2006, at the Shearin Funeral Home Chapel with Fr. John Schneider officiating. Interment will follow in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with full Military Honors. Memorials to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bonne Terre of Masses preferred.
