Wags and Purrs full to brim with new pets

FARMINGTON – None of the pets listed in the Nov. 18 edition of Adopt a Pet have been adopted. The pets are all located at the Wags and Purrs Animal Adoption Center in Farmington.

The adoption center is a no-kill shelter which means until these guys get adopted out, no more dogs can be taken in.

The first dog is a 15-week-old tan female puppy named Sage. Sage’s brother Priest is also available for adoption. The two dogs are going to be medium-sized when they grow up. They are already paper trained and would make great additions to any home.

The next pet is a male Boston Terrier and Beagle mix named Alfalfa. Alfalfa is already house broken and was born at the shelter. He is full-grown and is just an all around good dog who loves everything and everyone.

The fourth pet is a 1-year-old male mix breed named Dakota. Dakota was a stray dropped off at the shelter. Dakota is sweet, but he is not leash-trained.

The fifth pet is a 3-year-old male Beagle named Barney. Barney is house broken and thinks he is a lap dog. If you want a dog that will climb up next you on the couch, Barney is for you.

The last pet is a holdover at the shelter. Jersey is a 1-year-old Boxer and hound mix. He along with his brothers and sisters were born at the shelter. He is the last one left out of the litter. Jersey is house broken and has a great disposition.

The shelter’s cat room is also open for business. There are several adult cats and kittens available for adoption.

For more information about any of these dogs call (573) 756-8658.
