Reverend John J. Johnson

The Reverend John Jackson Johnson, 84, of Fredericktown died December 19, 2006.

He was born November 27, 1922 in Madison County, Missouri, a son of Levi and Allie (Smith) Johnson.

Reverend Johnson was preceded in death by his parents; a baby sister, Alma Johnson; and two brothers, Arnold and Eldon Johnson.

On April 28, 1950 he was married to Wanda Rose Allen in Arcadia, Missouri.

Reverend Johnson is survived by his wife, Wanda Rose Johnson, children, David Lynn Johnson, Pamela June Koerner, Sandra Rose Tripp, John Darrell Johnson, Allen Franklin Johnson and Wayne Keith Johnson; brothers and sisters, Issac Johnson, Alta Ketchmar, Murphy Johnson, and Betty Lou Forsythe.

He had 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Services were held Decembeer 22, 2006 at Follis and Sons Chapel with Pastor Tim Reed. Burial was at Ashlock Cemetery in Fredericktown

Pallbearers were: Gene Koerner, Gerald Tripp, Sam Tripp, John Darrell Johnson, Jermiah Johnson and Zack Johnson

Honorary pallbearers were: Dakota Koerner, Ethan Johnson and Drew Johnson.
