Two-vehicle accident sends three to hospital

A two-vehicle accident Monday on US 67 in Jefferson County sent three people to the hospital.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a vehicle driven by Jennifer Lindhorst, 25, Festus, turned left and was struck by a vehicle driven by Charles Williams, 39, Park Hills.

Lindhorst suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Jefferson Memorial Hospital by private conveyance. Williams suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Jefferson Memorial Hospital by Joachim Plattin Ambulance. Paula Williams, 37, Park Hills, suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Jefferson Memorial Hospital by Joachim Plattin Ambulance.

In an unrelated accident on Sunday, a two-vehicle accident on Silver Springs Road in St. Francois County resulted in minor injuries for a De Soto woman.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a vehicle driven by Patricia Missey, 41, De Soto, crossed over into the eastbound half of the roadway and struck a vehicle driven by Robert Davis, 24, Bonne Terre.

Missey suffered minor injuries and was taken to Parkland Health Center by St. Francois County Ambulance.
