Mearitt O. Cotham

Mearitt O. Cotham, 95, of Fredericktown died December 17, 2006 at his home.

He was born March 13, 1911 in Paducah, Kentucky, a son of Charles and Hattie Cotham.

On August 19, 1959 he was united in marriage to Patricia at St. Louis.

Mr. Cotham was preceded in death by one son, Mearat Cotham Jr.; one brother, Ray Cotham; Allien Bratton.

Mr. Cotham is survived by his wife, Patricia Cotham of Fredericktown; four sons, Robert Charles Bragale and Donald Obert Bragale of California and John Merritt and Terry Cotham of St. Louis; and one daughter, Patricia Gann of St. Louis.

He had 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Cotham enjoyed fishing, bingo and farming.

Services were held December 19, 2006 at Follis and Sons Chapel with Gregg McCord officiating.

Burial was on December 20, 2006 at Mt. Hope Cemetery in St. Louis.

Pallbearers were: Robert Bragale, Ted Gann, Tony Castaldi, Bill Risk and Larry Graham.
