Clelly M. Wampler

PARK HILLS – Clelly M. Wampler, 79, of Park Hills, passed away January 22, 2007, at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center in Farmington. He was born April 9, 1927, at Flat River, to the late Christopher A. Wampler and Nina Mary ‘Galvin’ Wampler.

Clelly was president and a dedicated member in good standing of the Huddle House Coffee Drinkers’ Club.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Clelly is survived by: His wife, Pauline Wampler of Park Hills; five children: Sharon Lee of Paris, Mo., Sheila Barron and husband Larry of Ste. Genevieve, Wayne Wampler of Park Hills, Janet Platz of Park Hills, and Brenda Workman and husband Steve of Troy, Mo.; eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

Visitation will be after 5:30 p.m., with a prayer service at 6 p.m., Tuesday, January 23, 2007, at Horton-Wampler Funeral Home in Park Hills. Services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, January 24, 2007, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Jim French officiating. Interment will be at the Catholic Cemetery in Park Hills.
