Harry Ransom

BONNE TERRE – Harry Ransom, 89, of Bonne Terre, passed away March 18, 2007, at his residence. He was born May 9, 1917, in Nebo, Ill. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bonne Terre; a member of Big River Eagles; and Mineral Area Elks.

He was preceded in death by: Parents, Harry and Lettie (Renaud) Ransom; wife, Norma (House) Ransom; and brother, Bill Ransom.

He is survived by: Stepson, Ronald Dean (Cheryl) Boyer of Edwardsville, Ill; Step-grandchildren, Debbie (Randy) Hilliard, and Mark (Donna) Boyer; four step-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Hellen and Evelyn.

Visitation will be 5 p.m., Tuesday, at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral home in Bonne Terre. Services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, at C.Z. Bpyer & Son Chapel with Rev. Ron Poole officiating. Interment in Aulsbury Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
