PARK HILLS — Donald E. Russell, 78, of Park Hills, passed away March 30, 2007, at his residence. He was born March 29, 1929, at St. Louis.
He was preceded in death by: Parents, Elva G. and Lena ‘Aldridge’ Russell; wife, Jeanette Russell; brother Richard Russell; grandson, Kevin Douglas Hogan; and great-grandson, Isaac Reagan.
He is survived by: Son, Michael Russell and wife Elise of Houston, Texas; daughters, Cathy Hogan and husband Danny of Boss, and Donna Blakenship and husband Kevin of Rock Springs, Wyo.; six grandchildren: Danny Hogan Jr., Kelli Koon, Sean Russell, Gabriel Blakenship, David Blakenship and Stephen Blakenship; three great-grandchildren: Jacob Hogan, Malachi Blakenship and Maesie Blakenship; brothers: Robert Russell and wife Clara of Washington state, Dean Russell and wife Nelma of Park Hills, James Russell of Park Hills, and Joe Russell and wife Linda of Marble Hill; special friend, Edalene Helms and sons, Bill Helms and Jack Morris. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
Visitation will be 4:30 p.m., Sunday, at Horton-Wampler Funeral Home in Park Hills. Services will be 2 p.m., Monday at Horton-Wampler Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Clinton officiating. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery.
