Dear Editor,

I would like to know what gives??? First the city tells the truckers that they can’t park in their own driveways and the police tell them to park in the old Walmart parking lot. Then you have signs go up saying no commercial parking in this lot. Where are they to park??? They pay TAXES here too and now they have no where to park and go home to enjoy their time off with family and friends. How can you do that to the trucker who lives in town and pays their TAXES? Does it not mean a thing to city hall that they have no where to park these big rigs to spend time with their families??? You tell me what are they supposed to do??? Me, I think they better do something about the parking for truckers since they pay taxes in this town also. They bring hard earned money into this town and spend it here too. How would you feel if they spent their money elsewhere??? Someone better tell us what they are going to do to help the trucker and the parking situation. It is unfair to the trucker and they are all angry and about to take their trucks to City Hall and protest. So if you don’t want to see this happen, something better be done to help the truckers in our community.
