Charles Wolfe Sr.

PARK HILLS — Charles E. Wolfe, Sr., 81, of Park Hills, passed away May 16, 2007, at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center in Farmington. He was born July 12, 1925, at Gilmore Center, Pa.

He was a WWII veteran, member of VFW Post 5896 in Farmington, DAV Life Member, and member of Masonic Lodge # 598 in Leadwood. He was retired from McDonnell Douglas.

He was preceded in death by: Parents, Charles J. Wolfe and Thelma ‘Hinze’ Wolfe; brother, Paul Wolfe; sisters, Janet Wolfe and Drucilla St. Clair; and son, James Wolfe.

He is survived by: Wife of 60 years, Dorothy Wolf of Park Hills; Children: Judith (Mrs. Mike) LaPlant of Leadington, Charles Wolfe Jr. and wife Linda of Desloge, Joyce (Mrs. Richard) Rowley of Aurora, Colo.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandson; brother, Elmer Wolfe of Pennsylvania; other relatives, family and friends also survive.

Visitation will be 6:30 p.m., Friday, at Horton-Wampler Funeral Home in Park Hills. Services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, at Horton-Wampler Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Graham officiating. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery.
