Ambulance district seeks land

The Ste. Genevieve County Ambulance District is close to acquiring a piece of land for the Bloomsdale area substation. The property, a one-acre tract located east of the Phillips 66 gas station on the south side of Mill Hill Road, will cost the district $18,000.

The substation will provide residents with emergency medical coverage for the area north of the intersection of Route A and Highway 61, Route O to Highway 32, plus Bloomsdale and the area known as Kinsey.
