DESLOGE — Hilda Tiefenauer, 66, of Desloge, MO passed away July 7, 2007 at her residence.
Hilda was born March 16, 1941, in Huzzah, MO.
She was a member of Desloge First Baptist Church and one of the first women to serve on the Desloge Volunteer Fire Department. Managed the Desloge Pool for six years, worked with the visually impaired children in the North County and Farmington school districts.
Preceded in death by parents, Orville and Dollie (Abney) Furry; two brothers, Junior Lewis Furry and Robert Furry.
Survived by husband, Bobby G. Tiefenauer; one son, Steven (Joella) Tiefenauer of Desloge, MO; one daughter, Lana (Randy) Mitchell of Desloge, MO; four brothers, James (Donna) Furry of Arizona, Carl Furry of Park Hills, MO, Roger (Cindy) Furry of Robertsville, MO; Kevin (Terri) Furry of Middlebroook, MO; two sisters, Sharon (Lonnie) Kennon of Park Hills, MO; Carol (Doug) Peery of Bonne Terre, MO; four grandchildren, Brandee and Derek Mitchell, Spencer and Seth Tiefenauer.
Visitation Monday July 9, 2007 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Visitation resumes Tuesday 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Desloge. Funeral services Tuesday July 10, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Desloge with Rev. Doug Elders. Interment, Woodlawn.
