LeRoy Howard

FARMINGTON — Mr. LeRoy Howard, 87, passed away July 19, 2007, at the Missouri Baptist Medical Center, in St. Louis County. LeRoy was born on February 26, 1920, in Sikeston, Missouri, and was the son of John Wesley Howard and Norma Lee ‘Jenkins’ Howard. Also preceding-In-death were: Three Sisters: Pearl Jokerst; Betty Brotherton and Mamie Howard; Three Brothers: James Howard, Albert Howard and one brother, in-infancy.

LeRoy was a member of Farmington First Baptist Church; a US Air Force Veteran of World War II; member, LePere-McCallister American Legion Post #416 of Farmington.

Survivors Include: his wife, Elizabeth LaDon ‘Kocher’ Howard, of Farmington; One Son: Jim (and Dolores) Howard, of Farmington; Three Sisters: Flossie Hager, of Los Angeles, California; Loretta ‘Mrs. Everett’ Masters, of Marble Hill, Missouri; Verna Lawrence of Perryville. One Brother: William L. (and Wanda) Howard, of Perryville. One Brother-ln-Law: Luther “Junior” Brotherton, of Perryville. Three Grandchildren: Jennifer Lynne; John Wesley and Joshua James Howard. Also surviving are several Nieces; Nephews and Cousins.

Visitation Sunday, 5-8 p.m., at Taylor Funeral Service, Inc., Farmington. Visitation resumes Monday, 7:00 a.m., and funeral Monday, 10:00 a.m., July 23, 2007, at Taylor Funeral Service Chapel, Farmington, with Dr. William C. Miller officiating. Interment follows at Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington.
