Single car accident injures passenger
An accident just after midnight this morning sent a Park Hills woman to the hospital.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Zachary S. Mosley, 19, Bonne Terre, was driving eastbound on Cedar Falls Road, west of Evanko Road. He negotiated a curve at what is described as a high rate of speed on wet pavement. The 1997 Ford Explorer overturned onto the passenger side and came to rest on its wheels.
His passenger, Kimberly A. Maurer, 21, Park Hills, suffered minor injuries and was taken to Parkland Health Center in Farmington by St. Francois County Ambulance.
The report indicates neither the driver nor the passenger was wearing a seatbelt.
The accident happened at 12:10 a.m. today.
