Two were arrested, third released pending charges in connection with robbery
PARK HILLS — Two people were arrested and a third was released pending charges after a Casey’s store in Elvins was broken into this morning.
According to Park Hills Police, a motorist saw people breaking into the gas station at 2:30 a.m. this morning. The burglars reportedly took cigarettes and alcohol.
The motorist followed the vehicle and gave a vehicle description and license plate number to police. Det. Tony Remshardt spotted the vehicle at Olive and Clemmons and took three people into custody without incident.
Two men were taken to the county jail and were being held on other warrants while a third was released pending the filing of formal charges.
