Farmington Schools meets

Consideration of a letter supporting relocation of UniTec Career Center, recycling obsolete electronic equipment and a MoDOT permit application are among items on the agenda for the Farmington R-7 School District Board of Education Tuesday night.

The regular monthly meeting begins at 6 p.m. at district offices, located at 1022 Ste. Genevieve Avenue. The meeting is open to the public.

Other items on the consent agenda include reports on the first quarter budget, September membership/student enrollment, 2006-07 school year MAP results and Alternative school report/dropout rate.

Communication items include the Heartland Hero Award and October Featured Teacher, recognition of advanced students on the MAP and a special presentation by Dr. W.L. Sanders.
