Our Town Tomorrow will host the Arcadia Valley Scarecrow ‘n’ Pumpkin Fest Saturday at the Iron County Courthouse.
A scarecrow and pumpkin contest is being sponsored by First State Community Bank. There will also be arts, crafts, music, food, games, and a silent auction. A flea market fair will be held at the Arcadia Academy.
The festival raises money for community projects such as the restoration of the Whistle Junction train depot, which is the home of the Chamber of Commerce and Iron County Historical Society Museum.
The 81st Annual Arcadia Valley Fall Festival Parade will also be held at 10 a.m. starting in Pilot Knob and ending in Arcadia. The floats will be on display at the courthouse from noon to 1:30 p.m.
