Pet Trick or Treat

Dress up your pet for a trick or treat event Oct. 27 at the Washington County Courthouse.

Cash prizes will be awarded for the best costumes at the event which begins at 4 p.m. and lasts until 6.

All animals must be on a leash and wearing a safe costume. The free event is sponsored by Sponsor A Pound Animal, which has been operating since July.

So far, 37 animals have been adopted through their program. If you are interested in helping the center, call 438-0736 and ask for Sherrie Brunk. If you want to adopt an animal call Martin Lawson, 438-2440 and leave a message.
