Mineral Area College PTK Inducts New Members
(PARK HILLS) – The Mineral Area College Lambda Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa inducted 60 new members during ceremonies held October 12, 2007.
Phi Theta Kappa is an international honor society of two-year colleges. MAC’s chapter was founded in 1926 when the college still operated as Flat River Junior College out of the old Flat River High School building.
PTK officers for 2007-08 are: Amber Wampler, president; Fred Fitzgerald, vice president of leadership; Jennifer Butchart, vice-president of scholarship; Glenna Clark, vice president of service; and Lori Ladd, recording/corresponding secretary.
