Naomi Pothetos

FARMINGTON — Naomi Estelle Pothetos, 106, passed away November 13, 2007, at St. Joseph Hospital, Kirkwood. Naomi was the daughter of Lawrence Riley Johnson and Addle ‘White’ Johnson. Naomi was also preceded in death by her Husband, Mike Pothetos (1983); one Daughter, Kathryn Halbrook (2006); one Son, Robert E. “Bob” Pothetos (1998); three Sisters, Evelyn Robinson; Gertrude Cooper; Genevieve Weiss; one Brother, Harry Johnson and two Grandchildren: Carolyn Marie ‘Pothetos’ Melott (1995) and Rick Pothetos (2007).

Naomi was a member of Farmington First Baptist Church and taught Sunday School there for 38 years.

Survivors include: Two Daughters, Pat (Adrain) Vaeth and Shirley Arning. Sister, Doris Moon. One Daughter-In-Law: Dorothy Pothetos. Son-In-Law: Gary Halbrook. 13 Grandchildren: 28 Great-Grandchildren and 16 Great, Great-Grandchildren.

Visitation today, 12:00 noon – 2:00 p.m., at Farmington First Baptist Church. Funeral 2:00 p.m., Farmington First Baptist Church, with Rev. Rocky Good, officiating. Interment at Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington, under direction of Taylor Funeral Service, Inc., Farmington. Memorials to: Farmington First Baptist Church.
