Millikin theatre production includes Qualls

The Millikin University Department of Theatre and Dance will present “Six Characters in Search of an Author” Dec. 5-9.

Millikin students taking part in the production include Adam Qualls of Farmington, who is performing in the role of Father for the show. Qualls is a Theatre major and graduate of Farmington Senior High School.

“Six Characters in Search of an Author” was written by Luigi Pirandello. The play begins at a rehearsal for a separate play. Six characters from the unfinished dramatic work confront the actors, insisting they be given life and be allowed to finish telling their stories. However, they can’t seem to agree on how their story should be finished. The Millikin production will be directed by Roger Smart, Assistant Professor of Theatre.

Tickets for the show are $6 and are on sale now at the Kirkland Box Office, by phone at 217-424-6318 and on-line at www.millikin.edu/kirkland.
