Eta Eta Members Completed Park Christmas Display

On December 1, members of Eta Eta Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi completed a Christmas Display for the park in association with the Fredericktown Boy Scouts. It includes a six foot decorated Christmas tree, two deer, and candy canes illuminated by Christmas lights and a spotlight. Their other Christmas project is to help provide beautician services at two of the nursing homes in town.

For November, members and spouses enjoyed a progressive dinner which began at the home of Bob and Janet Seabaugh for appetizers. Next, they moved to the home of Wendy and Shirley Baxter for salad. Finally, they gathered at the home of John and Kathie Thompson for the main course and dessert. Everyone enjoyed the good company and good food. Their next social is the Christmas party on Dec. 15 hosted by Don and Shirley Middendorf.

Meetings for November 15 and December 6 were held at Karen Fulton’s home and Jo Ann Bank’s home. Karen presented a Thanksgiving program on “Turkey Trivia”. In addition, she served as the auctioneer for the sorority fundraiser, a holiday auction. The annual ornament exchange was held at the Dec. 6 meeting.
