On behalf of the United Way of St. Francois County, thank you to everyone for making this year’s Wishing Well campaign a huge success. We ended up with a record $27,000 in coins and bills dropped into the wells at Wal-Mart and J.C. Penney in Farmington this year.

Thanks to all the Farmington Elks and Lions who have been faithfully ringing the bells on Sundays in December for 20 years now. Thanks to all the churches, organizations, civic groups, businesses and private individuals who all volunteered to support the United Way in this effort.

Thanks to Rocky Good and Bonnie Bockenkamp, who each year handle the scheduling of all volunteers, and finally thanks to each and every person who dropped a coin or a bill into our Christmas Wishing Well. Every penny donated will go to organizations within our county that help those in need.
