It’s Girl Scout cookie time again

Girl Scouts will be taking cookie orders until Jan. 27. For the 11th consecutive year, cookies are $3.

New this year are sugar-free chocolate chip and lemon chalet creme. The six returning flavors are Thin Mints, Samoas, Do-Si-Dos, Tagalongs. Trefoils and All Abouts.

All proceeds from the cookie program, stay within the local council to benefit area girls. Troops retain a percentage to fund activities such as field trips.
