K of C announces free throw winners

The Knights of Columbus local free throw contest was held this past Saturday with several boys and girls, ages 10-14 participating in the event. Only the 10 and 11 year old girls divisions were without contestants.

Dustin Winslow won the 10-year old boys contest, making 9-15, and Jordan Roney was 7-15 to claim first place for the 11-year olds.

Whitney Holmes and Payton Friend both made 6-15 to win their respective contests in the 12-year olds division.

Rachel Williams made 11 of her 15 shots to take first in the 13-year olds, and Alec Sebastian was good on 12 of his 15 attempts for the boys crown.

Brittany Gladbach was 9-15 for the 14-year old girls, and Kevin Wilson was first with 12 shots made for the boys side.

All of the winners advance to the District Competition to be held in February.
