Farmington man struck by tractor trailer

A Farmington man was struck by a tractor trailer early Thursday morning on Highway 221 in St. Francois County. The accident was reported at 1:44 a.m.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2007 Peterbild tractor trailer driven by Steven Reinhardt, 46, Ballwin, Ill., struck Raymond Jones, 35, Farmington, who was walking eastbound on Highway 221.

Jones suffered serious injuries and was taken to Parkland Health Center by St. Francois County Ambulance.
