Fredericktown City Collector’s office to be on April ballot also

The filing dates for City offices has closed.

As of Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at noon. The following people have  filed to run for an office:

Incumbent Paul Fritch has filed for  Alderman in Ward I.

Sie Merriman Sr. has filed for Alderman in Ward II.

Bill Killian has filed for aldermen in Ward II.

John Wright has filed for the position as City Marshal.

Bonnie Rackley has filed for the office of mayor.

Adiba Chowdhury has filed for the office of mayor.

Danny Kemp has filed for the office of mayor.

Erica Settle has filed for the office of city collector.

The City of Fredericktown has a two year term for mayor coming up election; A two year term for alderman in Ward I, a two year term in Ward II, and a two year term for alderman in Ward III. There is also an opening for the unexpired two years remaining on a four year term for City Marshal up for election, and a two year term of office for City Collector.

Elections will be held  Tuesday, April 8, 2008.

In Marquand; The City of Marquand has the office of mayor open, one seat for alderman in Ward I and one seat for alderman in Ward II and the position of City Collector.

Alice Mouser has filed for Alderman, Ward I in Marquand.  

Gary Hovis has file for Alderman, Ward I in Marquand.

Robert Homan has filed for Alderman, Ward II in Marquand.

Wilma Dees has filed for City Collector in Marquand.

In Cobalt Village: Larry Dale Graham and Jennifer E. Graham have filed.

Madison Medical Center (MMC) has one seat open on the Board of Trustees. Kent Marler has filed for the MMC Board of Trustees.

The Fredericktown R-I Board of Education has three seats up for re-election. Incumbents Ken Truska, Pat Martin and Dennis Bess have filed for the seats.

The Marquand-Zion R VI Board of Education has four openings for board members.
