Dorothy D. Baker
FARMINGTON — Dorothy D. Baker, 80, of Farmington passed away January 26, 2008 at St. Francois Manor. She was born June 27, 1927 at Leadwood.
She was preceded in death by: Her parents, William and Myrtle ‘Downey’ Walker; one sister, Nelma Walters, and three brothers, Donald, Raymond and Ronald Walker. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Survived by: Two sons, Daniel Tucker and wife June of Baldwin, and Donald Tucker of O’Fallon, Ill.; two step-daughters, Cindi Rand and husband Jeffrey of West Palm Beach, Fla.; Tammy Simpson and husband David of Vero Beach, Fla.; eight grandchildren, Steven Tucker, Kathy Williams, Stephanie, Angel, Brook, Ryan, Ben and Gabe Tucker; three great-grandchildren, Shae, Marcus and Kaylie Tucker; one sister, Eunice Poston of Bonne Terre; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends also survive.
Visitation will be at the Horton-Wampler Funeral Home after 5 p.m. Tuesday. Services for Dorothy Baker will be Wednesday 10 a.m. at the Horton-Wampler Funeral Home with Father James Dyer officiating. Burial will be at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Bonne Terre. Rosary Tuesday 7 p.m.
