A Bloomsdale woman was hurt Wednesday in an accident in St. Francois County on Hwy. Y at Office Road.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Carrie S. Carron, 44, Bloomsdale was eastbound on Hwy. Y when Dorothy S. Carron, 89, French Village, failed to yield and her Chevrolet Tahoe struck Carrie Carron’s Dodge Neon.
Carrie Carron sustained what were described as minor injuries and was taken to Jefferson Memorial Hospital by St. Francois County Ambulance.
The accident happened about 11:20 a.m. Wednesday.
A one-vehicle accident Tuesday on Hillsboro Road in St. Francois County resulted in moderate injuries for a Farmington man. The accident occurred at 9:30 a.m.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a vehicle driven by Daniel Glore, 26, Farmington, swerved to avoid a dog in the roadway and traveled off the road. The vehicle struck a mailbox. Glore then overcorrected and traveled off the right side of the road. The vehicle overturned and struck a fence.
Glore suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Mineral Area Regional Medical Center by St. Francois County Ambulance.
