Martin James Bacon

Martin James Bacon, 46, of Fredericktown died March 25, 2008 in Fredericktown.

He was born November 19, 1961 in Independence Missouri, a son of Rollin R. Bacon Sr. and Margie L. Bacon.

On May 10, 1980 he was united in marriage to Cindy Ann.

Mr. Bacon was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Ann Bacon of Fredericktown; one son, Deric James Bacon of Fredericktown; one daughter, Heather Ann Bacon of Fredericktown; four brothers, Rollin R. Bacon Jr. of Fredericktown, Emerson Scot Bacon of Cadiz, Kentucky, Timothy Dale Bacon of Patton, Missouri, and Tracy Lee Bacon Sr. of Fredericktown; and five sisters, Carol Ann Brame of Springfield, Missouri, Connie Mae Vance of Valley Park, Missouri, Roxy Anna Schnebelen of Farmington, Missouri, Diane Lynn Garrett of Glen Allen, Missouri, and Mary Lou (Bacon) Neubrand of Warsaw, Missouri.

Mr. Bacon had four grandchildren.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, campinng, collecting America Indian artifacts, playing guitar and harmonica, singing and spending time with his grandchildren.

Services were held March 28, 2008 at Follis and Sons Chapel with the Reverend Dwight Presson officiating. Burial was at Marcus Memorial Park Cemetery in Fredericktown.

Pallbearers were: Rollin Bacon, Scot Bacon, Timothy Bacon, Tracy Bacon, Deric Bacon and Kenneth Lewis.
