Loretta Politte

BONNE TERRE — Loretta Politte, 82, lifelong resident of Bonne Terre passed away April 12, 2008 at her residence. She was born August 23, 1925 in Bonne Terre.

She was a 1944 graduate of Bonne Terre High School, Lifetime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, charter member of Daughters of Isabella, member of American Legion Aux., First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association, National Slovak Society, and the St. Louis Metro Polka Club, Loretta was a 65 year member of the St. Joseph Choir and also sang with the Chautauqua Singers.

She was preceded in death by: Parents, John and Anna (Vargo) Timko; husband, Robert “Bob” Politte; Grandson, Adam House; Brothers, Frank Timko and Harry Timko; Sisters, Leona Yurchak, and Anna Sagan.

She is survived by: Two daughters, Jeanine (Mrs. Steve House) of Bonne Terre, Diane (Mrs. Richard Burr) of Plainfield, Indiana, Granddaughter, Jennifer (Mrs. Tim Thomas) of Westfield, Indiana, and great granddaughters, Hailey and Kayla Thomas. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Visitation Friday April 18, 2008 at 5 p.m. with a prayer service at 6 p.m. at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Services are Saturday April 19, 2008 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bonne Terre with Father Raymond Oge officiating. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Church Choir, Safe Harbor Hospice, of Bonne Terre Nutrition Center, Masses.
