William L.Huffman

William Lee Huffman, 73, of Warrensburg, formerly of Cole Camp, died Wednesday, April 23, 2008, at Country Club Care Center, Warrensburg.  

He was born May 16, 1934, at Randles, Missouri, a son of Elbert Salvanus and Mary Theresa (Killian) Huffman.

On December 22, 1979, in Knob Noster, he was united in marriage to Marion Crider, who preceded him in death on July 23, 1996.

He did automotive upholstery for several years in the Knob Noster area and later around the Lake of the Ozarks.  For several years during the 1950’s, he served in the United States Navy Reserves.  

He enjoyed gardening and woodworking.

Mr. Huffman is survived by:

One step-daughter, Liza Panzarella of Littleton, Colorado;

One step-son, Bryce Dawson of Leeton;

One sister, Zola Francis of Farmington;

One brother, Vernon Huffman  of Fredericktown; And several other nieces and nephews.

Besides his wife, Mr. Huffman was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Mary Huffman, two sisters, Madeline Lawrence and Mabel Cooper, and one brother, Bud Huffman.

Funeral services were held on  April 26, 2008, at Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp, with the Reverend Todd Kollbaum officiating.  Burial was at Memorial Cemetery, Cole Camp.
