Gayle (Glynn) ‘œBamm’e Vampran
Gayle (Glynn) Vampran, age 64 of Fredericktown, Missouri passed away on Monday, May 12, 2008 at ClaRu DeVille Nursing and Rehab’ Center in Fredericktown.
She was born on September 4, 1943 in New Orleans, Louisiana, a daughter of James V. and Rita (Cole) Glynn.
On September 6, 1974 in Chalmette, Louisiana she was married to Patrick J. Vampran who survives in Fredericktown.
Others surviving her include: three daughters – Eileen K. Brooks and husband Michael J. of Womack, Sherry G. Fuller and husband David R. of Park Hills and Lorie A. Amacker and significant other Randie P. Dalton also of Park Hills; two sisters – Kathleen J. Boteler of Pell City, Alabama and Kerry J. Clemens of Crownsville, Maryland; one granddaughter – Trenity Bailey; one niece and one nephew, two great-nieces, three great-nephews.
Her parents, one sister – Roberta Glenda Glynn, one infant brother-in-law – Pleasant J. Vampran preceded her in death.
Mrs. Vampran was a retirement consultant for the U.S. Department of Agriculture. She enjoyed gardening and sewing and was a member of the St. Michael Catholic Church in Fredericktown
Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, May 15th at St. Michael Catholic Church in Fredericktown with Monsignor Bill Stanton officiating.
Interment was at the St. Michael Cemetery in Fredericktown.
Pallbearers were: David Fuller, Randie Dalton, Michael Brooks, Donald Boteler, Tom Priday and Dwane Nixon.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Knights of Columbus.
