Jamison Memorial Fund
A Jamison Memorial Fund has been established by the Iron County Hospital Foundation.
A press release states the Iron County Hospital Foundation “lost a valuable board member this past February when Jack Jamison passed away.”
To honor Jack’s service to the Foundation, the Board of Governors has dedicated their first fundraiser as a memorial tribute to him.
His wife, Wilma, has volunteered to serve in Jack’s place on the board. To get the Jack Jamison Memorial Fund off to a good start, Mrs. Jamison has pledged a donation of $5,000.
The Hospital Board and Chief Executive Officer have indicated that the greatest need at this time is equipment that will start utilizing the operating room for needed gastroenterology procedures. This equipment includes a digital video processor, video gastroscope and colonoscope, LCD monitor, support equipment, and scope sterilizer. Obtaining this equipment will significantly expand the hospital’s services to the community. Donations to the Jack Jamison Memorial Fund will help to facilitate this purchase.
Anyone wishing to make a tax deductible contribution to the Jack Jamison Memorial Fund may mail their donation to The Jack Jamison Memorial Fund, Iron County Hospital Foundation, P.O. Box 548, Pilot Knob, Mo. 63663.
