PARK HILLS — Cecil Benham, 91, of Park Hills passed away June 11, 2008, at Parkland Health Center.
Cecil Benham was born July 20, 1916 at Desloge, Mo.
Preceded in death by parents: William Mabry Gettinger and Hettie Burch Gettinger, by two brothers, two sisters and one daughter.
Survived by wife: Wilma White Benham of Park Hills; children: Roland and wife Lue Benham of Warrenton, Mo.; Delores and husband James Day of Wortham, Mo.; Lawrence and wife Kathy Benham of Frankclay, Mo.; two grandchildren: Larry and Michael Benham; two brothers: Firmin Gettinger and wife Ruth of Caledonia, Mo. and John and wife Bertha Gettinger of Bismarck, Mo.; three sisters: Dorothy and Don Lee of Bonne Terre, Mo.; Eljean Studdard of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Fern Harper of Frankclay, Mo.
Also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive. He was still active in ministry.
Visitation will be at the Horton-Wampler Funeral Home after 5 p.m. Friday. Services for Cecil Benham will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Horton Wampler Funeral Home with Rev. Allen W. Teal. Burial will be at the Woodlawn Cemetery.
