Unused medical equipment accepted

If you have unused medical equipment just laying around, a St. Louis organization can help you put it to better use.

St. Louis HELP (St. Louis Health Equipment Lending Program) provides medical equipment to elderly, disabled, uninsured and under-insured patients in need.

The equipment, which is sanitized and refurbished or repaired, is loaned to individuals in need at no cost.

Jefferson County residents can drop off equipment at Our Lady School in Festus from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 21.
