Sun Security ordered to cease and desist

The FDIC has issued a cease and desist order against Sun Security Branch, which is head-quartered in Ellington and has branches in Reynolds, Iron and Madison counties.

The FDIC states the bank was made aware of charges and its right to a hearing and the bank waived those rights, entering into a stipulation and consent to the issuance of the order. The bank was ordered not to engage in further unsafe or unsound banking practices or violations of law and regulations.
