Civil Air Patrol seeks members

Weekly meetings of the Civil Air Patrol take place at the VFW post 6996 Hall on Veterans Drive from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays.

The Civil Air patrol is an auxiliary unit of the US Air Force. It assists with national and local disasters or emergencies such as the recent flooding in the Midwest.

A new commanding officer has taken over the unit, 1st Lt. Roy G. Lindsey. For more information about the group, attend the next meeting or contact him at 438-5275.
