Carl Otto ‘Putt’ Lamb

FREDERICKTOWN — Carl Otto “Putt” Lamb, 83, of Fredericktown passed away July 4, 2008, at Madison Medical Center in Fredericktown. He was born July 25, 1924, at Fredericktown to the late Charles Henry Stanley and Ricka Albertina (Ottander) Lamb.

Carl was a longtime area farmer raising cattle, registered quarter horses, coon dogs, and his most prized passion his grandkids. He was a member of Bethel United Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Henry Lamb and Alfred Lamb, and sisters, Irene Weatherford and Hilda Moyers.

He is survived by: Sons, Charles Ray (Vicki)  Lamb of Fredericktown and Richard Carl (Debra) Lamb; daughter, Rita Ann (Andy) Yount; grandchildren, Ann Yount Robbins, Charlene Lamb, Lynn Lamb, Travis Lamb and Carrie Lamb; and a host of family friends and neighbors.

Services were held July 8, 2008, at Follis and Sons Chapel with Elder Robert Graham officiating. Interment at Sebastian Cemetery.
