Elmer Brinkley

BISMARCK — Elmer L. Brinkley of Bismarck was born September 14, 1929 in Leeper, Missouri. He passed away Friday, August 1, 2008 at the Parkland Health Center in Farmington being 78 years of age.

Son of the late Everett L. Brinkley and Mary Louise (Tackett) Brinkley.

Surviving are his wife Annette (Widsom) Brinkley of Bismarck; One Son, Elmer Wayne Brinkley and wife Diane of Richmond Heights, Mo.; One Daughter, Perteresa Annette Brinkley of Bismarck; Four Grandchildren, Scott, Julie, Catherine, and Susan; Four Great-Grandchildren, Terence, Brianna, Joshua, Zachary; Four Brothers, Paul, Joe, Robert and Johney; Two Sisters, Helen Gown of Festus and Alice Radford of Piedmont. One Sister, Mae Lawson and Four Brothers Luther, Edward, Jim and Roy, all preceded him in death.

Elmer and Annette were united in marriage on May 18, 1952 in Van Buren, Mo.

Family will receive friends after 5:30 p.m. on Sunday. Services are Monday at 11 a.m. at the Caldwell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sidney Laxton officiating. Interment Ellington Memorial Cemetery, Ellington, Mo.
