Potosi R-3 adds text messaging system

The Potosi R-3 School District has added a system that will allow them to send out recorded messages simultaneously to alert parents, students, teachers and staff members of changes in schedule.

The system is password protected. Its cost is being absorbed by Belgrade State Bank.

Superintendent Randy Davis said the new system will allow them to alert parents of schedule changes without having to rely on the media.
