Darrell G. Pirtle
FARMINGTON — Darrell G. Pirtle, 74, of Farmington passed away September 7, 2008 at Southbrook Skilled Nursing Center, Farmington. He was born May 10, 1934 at Flat River, Mo.
Preceded in death by Parents, Theodore Pirtle and Dorothy ‘Adams’ Pirtle; Wife, Verlin ‘Young’ Pirtle and Brother, James H. Pirtle.
Survived by One Daughter, Sheila Basler and husband Donnie of Farmington; One Son, Dennis Pirtle and wife Gayla of Pueblo, Colorado; Brothers, Robert Pirtle and wife Connie of Desloge, Don Pirtle of Park Hills, Mike Pirtle and wife Laura of Beaumont, Texas; One Sister, Marsha Kennedy of St. Louis; Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends survive.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Leadington.
Visitation will be at the Horton-Wampler Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m., Wednesday. Services for Darrell G. Pirtle will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Horton-Wampler Funeral Home with Rev. James Barker. Burial will be at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Leadington, Mo.
