The Mineral Area College Board of Trustees will consider approval of the purchase and installation of bleachers in the Bob Sechrest Field House when it meets in regular session at 2 p.m. Thursday.
They’ll also consider approving plans to renovate the theater using money from the state that came through the sale of MOHELA, the Missouri Higher Education Loan Authority.
Mike Easter will present the results of the General Education Examination and Dean Jean Merrill-Doss will present changes to policies and procedures for students who live in College Park.
The board will consider a pilot program with Central and West County School districts to provide merit scholarships for juniors and seniors to take part in the Dual Credit Pilot Program.
The scholarships provide for a third of the tuition to be paid by MAC, a third by the school district and the final third by the student or his parents.
The meeting will be held in the Board Room adjacent to the President’s Office in the Fine Arts building. An executive session at 12:30 p.m. precedes the open meeting.
