Fredericktown woman hurt in accident on US 67

A Fredericktown woman received minor injuries Sunday morning when her 1999 Oldsmobile Cutlass hydroplaned on US 67 in St. Francois County.

According to Missouri Highway Patrol reports, Kary L. Bowling, 49, was southbound on US 67 at 7:30 a.m. when her vehicle began to hydroplane. The Oldsmobile traveled off the east edge of the highway into the median at Stormy Lane, struck an embankment and returned to the roadway.

Bowling, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Parkland South Health Center. Damage to the car was listed as moderate.
