Elwood Swanguarim
DESLOGE — Elwood Swanguarim, 68, of Desloge passed September 21, 2008 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis. Elwood Swanguarim was born March 15, 1940 at Flat River.
He was preceded in death by: His parents, George and Jessie (Leigh) Swanguarim; a son Randel Elwood Swanguarim and four brothers and three sisters.
Survived by: Wife Loretta (Hale) Swanguarim of Desloge; one brother, Ned Swanguarim and wife, Betty of Desloge; his best friend of all, his cat, Wiggley; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends also survive.
A teamster with local #682 and #610. He retired from Breckenridge Materials. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and gardener.
Visitation will be at the Horton-Wampler Funeral Home after 9 a.m. Wednesday. Services for Elwood Swanguarim will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Horton-Wampler Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Rawson. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
